Social Lubricant

These kaleidoscopic photographs of surreal shapes and colours are actually droplets of our favorite nightcaps, in order; rose wine, white russian, sake, pina colada, daiquiri, champagne, whiskey, tequila and scotch.
BevShots photograph at 1000x magnified strength, where the crystallised carbohydrates have become sugars and glucose, the colours being produced as the polarised light passes through. It is refreshing to see something positive written about alcohol; the liquid that now isn't just a social lubricant, but also a visual stimulant, for once.
The term 'pick your poison' has never seemed so tempting... so don't mind if I do.
