Elizaveta Porodina

These photos from Elizaveta Porodina's Light Projects Plug in Babies and Holy Dungeon.

Great use of colour and placement in melancholic, but emotionally difficult images.

Magic Mountain Lodge

Ohhh, I want to go here. So, so bad.

The Montana Magica Lodge or Magic Mountain Lodge is located in Huilo Huilo, Sothern Chile, a 232 square mile nature reserve. Built by craftsmen from local villages, blanketed in rainforest moss, a volcano-like water fall feature, only accessible via monkey bridge, wow.

Little Printer

How GOOD is this. I want a wall full of little printer slips.

Please let Christmas be kind.

Lucy McRae

Every now and then you see something that truly captivates your imagination and grabs your attention with both hands. Lucy McRae is no one trick pony, she perpetually finds new ways to investigate themes and ideas within design with mesmerisingly beautiful results.

'Chlorophyll Skin' is one example of McRae's work in which she explores colour, movement, absorption and the body. The results: see for yourself.

Michael Cina

The art of Michael Cina has caught my eye (which seems to be obsessing over colour atm, I think colour selection for my current knit collection has driven me a bit loopy).

On paper or wood the quality of line is mesmerizing delicate and organic, the colour creates a scene on the page, like a moment in time, creating an overall effect which balances somewhere between the living and the destroyed.

Jonathan Zawada

There is something very enticing about Jonathan Zawada's oil paintings. The topographies are derived from graph data which are displayed alongside the large scale canvases, for example the final image is called 'Sleepless Nights Keep Couples Together'.

The familiar looking landscapes and the dreamlike colours confuse the dream state and the futuristic, leaving you feeling a sense of ecstatic unease as this scene could be a reflection of everything that is both 'good' and 'bad' in the world simultaneously.
